.edu vs Education Edition
Hello,
Our organization recently switched from minecraft.edu to minecraft education edition. We were wondering how other schools did it to have a primary operations computer and have controls to mute the kids and to freeze them if they are acting out. When we had minecraft.edu we had a "server" computer where one of our staff members had permissions to freeze unruly kids or to mute the in-game chats all from one computer. For this new version of minecraft is there any way to do that? If so, how and what program are you running? (we have the basic minecraft education edition program downloaded but are interested in the classroom setting and how to operate that with more than one computer connected as well). Just downloaded yesterday and are still trying to figure out all the differences.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Margaret,
Thanks for reaching out. The classroom mode companion app is a great way to manage the classroom. It can be downloaded from our website: https://education.minecraft.net/get-started/download/
Thanks!
