Pro Controller Support Does Not Allow For Sprinting

Utilizing an official Nintendo Switch Pro Controller for the Windows 10 version of Education Edition will not let sprinting of any kind take place. No double tap of sprint keys. Sprinting on the same computer with keyboard and touchscreen works as normal, and utilizing other controllers such as the Dual Shock 4 and an official Xbox One controller work fine. I know my controller works fine because the computer still registers my inputs in the menu to assign the sprint to a key. I also know for certain that it's not the controller connection.
