Teleport/Crashes
I created a lesson in the Fluffletopolis world available in the class resources section.
Students would complete an objective in one part of the world and, once done, would hit a switch and teleport to a different part of the world for a new objective.
I discovered that when teleporting, the program tends to crash. On a low powered computer, it sometimes crashes when I'm the only person in the world and teleporting (especially if I try to do something too quickly after teleporting). During class, even on a stronger computer, once I've got a dozen students in the world it frequently crashes.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there a fix?
Several sample lessons include teleportation as a key component of directing student progress, but I'm scared of using those if it's going to continue to crash.
Help...

Hi Ryan,
Thanks for posting. Hmmmm I want to say this is most likely due to your network capacity. Have you been able to test this at home or on a different network?

Yeah. Single player running on a single laptop. Not on a network. And I can make it happen if I try to edit something too fast after teleporting.
It's like the program is struggling to render all the new information, and then by editing things I can push it over the edge.
On a stronger computer it happens less frequently, but when several students are in the world it still happens.
When running a world on one of our class laptops it happens about every 3 minutes. When running from my teacher desktop it happens about every 15-20 minutes, but it still happens.

And our IT says that our network is FAR above the recommendations of MEE. I can get specifics if that's helpful.

Hi Ryan, apologies on the delay getting back. Go ahead and submit a request if this issue is still persisting and we can troubleshoot further.

I am having the same issue. I've checked with our IT department and they tell me the network is more than meets the requirements and the computers are new. We have built teleport stations to go quickly from one place to another, but they do not always work. The coordinates are correct and they work sometimes, but other times not. This happens even when I am testing it and am the only one online.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
