3D Printing for Apple Macs and iOS as well as a more direct means for Windows
I had a teacher ask me to help her with a Makerbot lesson to design a castle using math. The instructions included using an Open Source app called Mineways, which works fine in the Java version of Minecraft. Trying to convert the Minecraft Education version since it is based on the Bedrock edition was something of a dead-end in trying to get the world converted.
That being said, the built-in command based /Structure_Block works great and allows more opportunities for students to share their models in different ways as an export. The problem is that the file is in the .gbl format which allows uploading to Microsoft's Remix3D web portal, but I couldn't find a free way to convert the file without using one of the free Windows tools such as 3D Builder to convert. Since most 3D printers do not accept this file format it would be nice to have more 3D printer friendly formats to export such as .stl or .3mf
Thanks

Hi Derrall,
There is a way to easily convert the builds done in M:EE to a format that is read by Mineways. Reach out on Twitter @EduElfie, email me at eduelfie at gmail dot com, or join the mentor Discord at https://discord.gg/7fSQBdx and we can get you over that speedbump. That being said I totally agree about the format of the structure block export!
