Downloading old MinecraftEdu software?

Hi there,

Is there any way to purchase a license for minecraftedu still? I'm trying to find a way to teach my students with a small custom modpack that introduces a lot more blocks and ways to create custom worlds and settings, and just things that give them a lot more freedom to create, but i know that the current version of Minecraft Educational Edition doesn't allow for the installation of mods. I found that minecraftedu, the old version of this program, did once allow the installation of technical mods and other such things that were built for 1.7 version of base minecraft, and i feel like I could do just as well with that, since those were the days i was playing modded minecraft most heavily anyways- but i can't seem to find any information on how to get that to work.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
