On version 1.12.5, I am only getting 3 join code spots on both the Windows 10 version and iPad. Another colleague has also updated to 1.12.5 and they have 4 join code spots. Any insight on this?

Hi there,
When will this update be available on iPad and has it fixed the known issue with importing worlds on iOS 13? My students love using Minecraft:EE in class but we are a bit limited at the moment without being able to import worlds.
Thanks in advance!

Hello Brendan,
The update will be available shortly. You will not be able to open .mcworld files but you should be able to use the World Library to access worlds. We are working on a fix with Apple.

Is SSO on PC still supported in this version?

Yes, you may have to login manually the first time after update.

The option PROFILE->ENABLE SINGLE SIGN ON in this version (1.12.5) is ignored or it is not working as in the previous one.
I always have to insert my password now.

I got the update automatically on one device but not on the others. I'd like to avoid a manual install. Is there a way to force the update in-app?

Nic Finelli Different sized tenants should see different length of join codes. If you are both from the same school please submit a request and let me know.
Becky Keene If you are on mac you will need to update from the website, Otherwise logging out and performing a Windows update will work.

Kyle M I'd love to have a Windows Update push the Minecraft Update, and sometimes that does happen. It has often fixed this in the past for me. It did not in this update. One of my devices updated automatically, three required a manual install, and one took the update directly from the Store. All are PCs on the same latest Windows Update (not Insider). My concern is that in a school system students don't have the option of updating Windows, frequently. So they are dependent on updates from the individual apps themselves. And when Minecraft has such a unique experience of completely locking users out functionally unless updated, not having smooth access to an update is extremely problematic. Obviously. Thanks for the reply!

Marco Vigelini Agreed. This issue is super confusing and did exist in the previous version as well. I am disappointed it wasn't resolved.

Marco Vigelini I got confirmation that this is indeed a bug and we are working on a fix
Becky Keene Thanks for the feedback. Sometimes updates can be difficult to manage on multiple machines. If you or your IT admin ever need to troubleshoot feel free to submit a request and we can get it figured out.

Same comment as Becky Keene. Schools don't normally update Windows during the school year. Our school reimages once a year during summer.
So without Windows updating, I have to manually install it again each patch?

Trevor Takayama Yes, if you want to update an app you either need to update the operating system or manually update by installing

Kyle M Any rough estimate as to when the issue with importing worlds into Minecraft on iPads running iOS 13.x.x will be fixed?
Would be nice to see the "Import" option come back again to the iPad app.

Vikram Harinath, we have prioritized a hotfix for this issue. I do not have an exact timetable quite yet. I will update Known Issues once complete.

Is there a way to force update to 1.12.5 so that others will not be separated by different versions

This actually looks to be a bug from the Bedrock version of the game. We are working on a fix.
