Students unable to join each other's worlds
Hello,
We've had Minecraft accounts under the same tenant for 2 years. About a month ago, students stopped being able to join each other's worlds. We get an error message that simply says "Unable to Join World". I've looked on the forum for answers. Our tenant is the same, IP address is the same, it all says port 19132. I saw something about the UDP but I'm not sure what that is and there doesn't seem to be a way to check.
Students desperately want to play with each other, is there anyone that's faced a similar problem that can help?

Same version, yes?
Also, the latest version (.12.5) changed the host/join paradigm. Now, codes and approval are required.

Yes, all the same version (1.12.5).
Other things I tried-
- tried a world where a student hosted and tried to have other kids connect
- hosted a world as an admin and had students connect (still didn't work)
-hosted another world as admin and created another admin account and tried to connect (still didn't work)
