Minecraft EDU username change?

Is it possible for students to change their display name if they are using a Minecraft EDU account (@schools.vic.edu.au) ?

All of our school accounts are set up with "First Name + Last initial" but a teacher at our school has said they have a random named person joining worlds and destroying things.  Because of the pseudonym, they are unable to find out who is doing it?

  Hi Joe Grabin,

  Our in game names are pulled from the "display name" field for each user in admin center. The teacher can always kick students out of the world and then turn off hosting.
