Minecraft EDU multiplayer issue
Hello,
I am hoping someone could help me as I have tried everything I could think of and have done my research prior to making this post for help.
Problem: Prior to the closure of school due to Covid-19 my students were so close to completing most of our school build. We would like to continue to work on it remotely to complete the project. I have already read the latest article on multi-player game configuration but it does not apply to our situation as students building from their house are unable to use the "join code" and port forwarding configuration is tricky. I do not want to open up my router and am nervous about playing around with router setting and then potentially messing it up for the rest of members of my family who are relying on it to work properly for work.
What I have already tried:
- Option 1: Purchasing our own server to host our school build. However the problem with this route is that commercial servers cannot host EDU.
- Option 2: Purchased realm server from Minecraft so we might upload our world. However the problem here is that I keep getting the no single player world found.
- Option 3: I have also tried to purchase the realm server plus and I was unable to do it as I also have some students using their Xbox for the build also.
What else might try? Thank you in advance for your response as we would like to complete this build.
Sincerely,
Sunshine

Our school is just starting down the Minecraft path. The trick is that we need a host and as you pointed out, the commercial hosts won't host EDU for some reason. I find it hard to believe that we can't host it within our Microsoft tenant. Has anyone had any luck finding an online host for M:EE?
Thanks,
Sue
