Join code just keeps shuffling like a slot machine
I am trying to set up a stable world for my school's Minecraft: Edu during COVID-19, and I am tearing my hair out in frustration because nothing works. It keeps glitching and crashing. The only stable ones I managed to run was to host a world from an always-plugged-in, always-on iPad. Obviously this is not an ideal long-term solution!
I am using two older Mac computers that are not being used for anything else. This keeps happening over and over, or, if I can get it to actually work (no fix, just random restarts until I get lucky) it'll run for a little while and then crash and burn. The kids are frustrated, I'm frustrated, and I don't even know how to describe this to be able to search for a solution online — not for lack of trying.

Hi Geneviève Chong,
As discussed on the ticket you submitted the first step would be to update your operating system to the most recent version so we can asses from there.
