When will education edition add command blocks?

  Command blocks are not available in the Creative inventory. It can either be obtained by using the pick block control, or by using various commands, such as /give @s command_block, or /setblock ~ ~ ~ command_block.

  I believe In all versions of Minecraft I believe you have to use the Give command to give yourself a command block and you need to be in creative mode to set and access the gui to change settings and input the commands.
