Minecraft crashes - 1.21.06

We are programming Labyrinth and Minecraft stops working and the program crashes :-( It happens on multiple school computers.
Maybe there is a bug somewhere in the latest build version 1.21.06

  I have the same thing, but only on my new laptop. Randomly when MakeCode is open and I try to select a block/item in the block coding or when I try to drag some code in text mode the game freezes for a few seconds and crashes.

  My machine is Lenovo LOQ 15irh8

  It seems to work fine on older versions of Minecraft Education

  Hey there, 
  We're currently aware of a bug in the 1.21.06 release that can cause this crashing on computer running Windows 11 24H2. We're working on a patch that should be out soon. The Windows team is also working on a patch that will fix it for all users. 
  
  In the meantime, the issue is not present in our Minecraft Education Preview
