Python 101 Lesson 8 Activity 2 Part 2

I am following the exact code that is in the PDF Guide and the agent still does not follow the plant_tree() function. He only breaks blocks and walks forward. Everything in my code is 1:1 compared to the guide. I can't move on to the 3rd part either because of this.

  Did you find a solution? I am having a similar problem with the Python 101 - Notebook lessons 7 and 8.  For lesson 7, Activity 2 does not work.  Were you able to complete all of Lesson 7 activities? If so, what code did you use?  For Lesson 8, Activity 1 code will not work.  The Agent stand on the gold square after tilling, planting, and fertilizing trees but no success message is shown nor does the next door open.  Since you made it to Activity 2, what code did you use for Activity 1?
