Minecraft Education Unable to join multiplayer world

Hey, 

I recently redownloaded Minecraft Edu to update it to 1.21 but after this I was unable to join any multiplayer worlds. I don't know what the problem is could someone help me please? Btw I play on a mac if that helps.
