Minecraft education edition running slow

I have run into a little issue recently where the coding part in the activities loads up really slowly which is really weird. This seems to be affected on all of our windows machines which is weird but I can run it fine on my mac and on chromebooks so slightly unsure what could cause the application to hang. I have whitelisted all of the url's that have been suggested on the website.
