Unable to open my world
The 4 months old world my students and I made will not open.
The new world I started last week will not open now.
The error message is "A newer version of this was previously saved."
What's going on? How can I fix it?
Thanks
Rod

See you over there!0 -
Do I need to do anything to facilitate the transfer?

Nope!
Caleb made a ticket for you and it looks like you are chatting via email now and the conversation can be over there now. :)
Cheers!

Hey Rod,
I'm Caleb with the Minecraft Education support team! Happy to help out!
This error indicated that the world was opened in a newer version of the game and to prevent corruption you'll need to update your game.
1. Double check that you're running the latest version of Minecraft Education. The current version is 1.20.13.
2. If the world was opened in preview, it cannot be downgraded. You'll need to open the world in the newest version of preview, currently 1.20.70You can instructions for updating your game here: Update to a New Version of Minecraft Education – Minecraft Education
If you're already running the newest version, can you confirm the following:
1. What OS are you on? (Windows, ChromeOS, MacOS, etc)
2. What version of Minecraft Education are you running?
3. If you export the world, can it be imported to another device and opened?
4. Would you be willing to transfer to a ticket so we could snag a copy of the world and take a look on our end?
Let us know if you have any additional questions, or concerns!
Thanks,-1
