Can't get 1.20 Update?

I've tried using the repair option in the setup wizard, but it remains at 1.19. Please tell me how I can update Edu on my Laptop. I currently have worlds from 1.20 on this device, because once I re-installed Minecraft, It didn't update? I can't access the worlds because it won't install. Help me please!
