IT management question
So Microsoft decided Minecraft Education should be Per to Per only...??? They cancelled the azure setup in 2019.
I have this question: on a very Microsoft dedicated middelschool in the Netherlands we are looking in to way's how to make the teachers life as easy as possible. This move from Microsoft has put the teacher in the middle of making technical en securitywise IT decicions? WHY ? I get the per to per, but why not enable the server possibilities. I'm sure Minecraft would gain more interest on our school... we would like to get started with 6 entities with over 30 players in it.
Arent there other way's to help eductional organisations in setting up manageble Minecraft Education servers, instead of mandatory per to per setup. In this day and age of containerisation I am loosing faith in the way Microsoft is pushing technology on top of shoulders were it shoudn't belong. Sure teachers are dedicated educational proffesionals, but are they all techsavvy as we say? I have reasons to doubt it.
So why will Microsoft prohibit the use of Minecraft education in server environments ??? Can a Microsoft employee explain this Microsoft philosophie to me?

Totally agree with the above.
We have SOOOOOOOO many issues trying to get 30 children connected to the Host machine via PTP, but connecting to an IP Address on site works first time every time!
Give us Servers in Edu!!
