I just updated my Minecraft EDU software to the latest version and now I'm having this issue. I'm using a 2021 MacBook Pro; OS Ventura 13.6.2, not on VPN.
Any assistance would be appreciated! I'm trying to make sure that we'll be able to use Minecraft EDU for some outreach programs this spring and summer, but this login issue will obviously be a huge barrier. Thanks!

Interesting,
You didn't have any issues until you upgraded to version 1.20.13?
Lets start from the top and give your device an old fashioned reboot, could you please try deleting the resource pack on the device and reboot again?
the easiest way to get to the correct location is with the Go command in Finder.
so just press Command-Shift-G and then paste the target directory ~/Library/Application Support/minecraftpe/games/com.mojang and press Enter.0 -
Correct - I didn't have this issue until I updated to 1.20.13.
I followed the suggestion above, deleting the resource pack and rebooting, and it gave me the same error message. Should I delete any of those other folders? Anything else I can try?

I know you said you were not using a VPN, but are you by chance using a proxy?
Also, are you able to recreate this error on a separate network by chance?0
