Import Minecraft Java Edition World into Minecraft Education Edition
Hi Minecrafters!!👋🎮
I have this world I've been playing in Minecraft Java Edition, and I've been eager to bring it into my class using Minecraft Education Edition.
Problem
I've attempted the usual method – exporting the world, zipping it up, and changing the extension to .mcworld. However, upon importing the game into Minecraft Education Edition, the world looks completely different, and, it crashes after just a minute.
Has anyone successfully migrated a world from Java Edition to Minecraft Education Edition without these hiccups? is that even possible?🤔
Thanks in advance!!!Â

Hey Simone,
Minecraft Education is based off of Bedrock edition, and cannot support Java worlds.
You may have better luck with Bedrock MCWORLDs, but you would still likely have stability issues.Â0 -
I use the Java version of the world data, converted to the Bedrock version using the Amulet Map Editor, and use it in the Education version.
It is not completely compatible, but it is very meaningful to be able to use buildings.
I use 3D map data converted to the Education version.

Try using www.chunker.app, I use it for remapping the Overworld to the Nether.
