After Updating MEE to v.1.20.13 “something went wrong” error

I’m getting “something went wrong. Check internet connection.” This started to happen after updating to MEE v.1.20.13 on Chromebook. My internet connection is fine. My son signs in to play through Microsoft and I use the Authenticator.

  Hey Neil,

  You mentioned that this occurred after the update.
  Are there multiple versions of Minecraft Education installed on the device? If so, the other versions will need to be uninstalled as the different versions can interfere with each other.
  
  Can you successfully log in when using a separate network like a mobile hotspot? This will help us determine if the issue is on the device or network level
  
  Also, is your device managed by a school or is a it a personal device?
