Code builder screen freezes when sharing the screen.
Hello! I am a tech support specialist from an online coding school.
Since the 1.19.52 version was released back to April 2023, we have been experiencing an issue: some students is not able to see any changes on the Code Builder screen, when sharing the screen to a teacher. For example, if the student moves a block of commands, he cannot see the block moving. It looks like the whole Code Builder window is just frozen. At the same time, the teacher (who watches the student's screen demonstration) is able to see everything correctly.
We have noticed, that this bug happens only on windows machines that have Intel graphics on board.
We've tried updating the graphics drivers on our students machines, sharing the screen in different browsers, sharing the whole screen or just the window. But it doesn't seem to help.
The only workaround we've found is to toggle full screen mode in video settings of Minecraft Edu and then try different alignment options for Code Builder window. Seems like the full screen mode + large code builder window works the best in most cases.
But sometimes this solution doesn't help, and we have to reinstall an older version of Minecraft Edu, 1.18.45. The student in that case can no longer open worlds saved in the newer version.
We would be very grateful if you could help us with this problem.
Thank you!

Hey Pavel,
Thank you very much for the information. We are aware that this issue occurs on certain screensharing platforms, but I will let the team know that is seems to only be affecting your Windows machines with onboard intel graphics.
Also, could you tell me which software you are using to screenshare with? Users don't seem to have issues with platforms such as MS teams and slack, so that may be a potential workaround for you.
I would love to hear any other details on this you may have to offer on this situation as well!0 -
The same problem I have here: https://educommunity.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/20591843948180-screen-demonstration
