Importing Worlds

I am trying to upload a map to Minecraft Education 1.20.12 and I go to import the world and the green import bar doesn't go all the way across the screen and it says failed to import. Can anyone help?

  what version of Minecraft are you importing the map from?

  Hi, Jay. Are you opening a world you created in Minecraft Education? or did you get the world from somewhere else? Is there an error code being generated? 
  When you say you are uploading the map, do you mean you are opening a mcworld file, or are you doing something else?

  Some resource packs from previous versions seems to be giving some trouble. It would be good to know which world you are trying to open. Hopefully we can help. =]
