Minecraft Education keeps on freezing during gameplay

so i'm just playing some Minecraft Education and sometimes it freezes and then goes back to normal. sometimes after it freezes it says "Minecraft Education isn't responding" and the options are wait or close app. I really would like to play without being interrupted. please fix this.
