    Hey there,

Sorry to hear you are running into some issues.

Are there any mods, texture packs, or resource packs associated with your version of Minecraft Education or with the .mcworld you are downloading?

    Hi Anny Lu

If you're double-clicking on the .mcworld file (from your desktop for example), there have been some issues since the last update and there seems to be a 50-50 chance they'll fail to import.

Importing them from within the application using the Import button works flawlessly still.

That is how I tried, I tried both ways of doing it but it still failed. Also is it possible to import a map into minecraft education?

Hello. I'm pleased to meet you. =]

Can you let me know a little more about what is going on? You are using Minecraft Education, right? Have you opened other worlds in the past? How did that go? What world are you trying to open? Where did you get the file from? In other words, are you downloading a file from the lesson library? Can you still open new worlds normally?

I'm sorry to hear what Dani Noble said, that directly opening files is tricky right now.

This info will help us help you. =] Let us know.
