Web browser does not support Java Script.
I just downloaded Minecraft education on my laptop because I need it for an assignment. As I press sign in, a pop up comes. It says "Microsoft Account requires Java Script to sign in. This web browser either does not support Java Script, or scripts are being blocked. To find out whether your browser supports Java Script, or to allow scripts, see the browser's online help." I have tried to delete it and redownload it but that didn't work. I've updated my computer, and this still pops up. I'm not sure what to do as the rest of my classmates do not have the same issue.

Hey Bhav,
You can go into your browsers settings and enable java script. If you are using a school managed device you may need to reach out to your schools IT department first.

Hey! Sorry for the delay. Was catching up with some work. Anyways, I recently went to my IT support and they said that they had never seen a error like mine and since they didn't have much experience with fixing Minecraft Education issues, they were unable to. Also, I checked my browser, Microsoft Edge and also Google, and both of them had Java Script turned on.

Another issue I have is that every time I open minecraft education and click on "Sign in," it shows a issue "We can't connect to the service right now. Please check your internet connection and try again." I have not been able to fix this issue too. But to get past this issue, I have unfortunately delete minecraft education and redownload it in order for it to go to the sign in page, which deletes all my progress and worlds. However, after the recent 1.20 update on minecraft, I am now unable to even login due to the Java error.

This is the network issue it shows. My internet is working fine and my VPN has never caused any issues with Minecraft Education previously. No matter how many times I press sign in, it just goes back to this.

I see. This error is typically caused by something blocking our services such as a firewall, proxy, parental filter, or even anti-virus software.
You can find a list of the URLs that need to be allow listed here: FAQ: IT Admin Guide – Minecraft EducationYou may need to make sure you do not have multiple versions of Minecraft Education installed as well. The different versions have been known to interfere with each other when installed on the same device.
Let me know if this helps.
