Can’t join or host world with my friend

I haven’t been able to connect to my friend for a few months now to play since the last big update a few months ago. We take turns hosting and it says connection timed out. But we are still able to host and join other worlds with different friends from the same school. We are all using the recent update on an iPad. It’s just this one person I can’t connect with and who can’t connect to me. She connects with everyone else fine. Help! :-) Thanks!

  This sounds like it may be due to the world itself. Try creating a new world with no mods and see if you can connect to them.
