Hey there!
Sorry to hear you are running into some issues.
Have you tried other keyboards and mice to see if that if that helps with the issue?

yes i have

it does not help

I occasionally have a problem where it seems my trackpad "catches" the movement of my player and I just start moving uncontrollably. The only thing that stops it is the escape key, or wild mouse movement sometimes (which I think may just be luck!)
I have gotten better at not brushing over my trackpad. =D

Im not using a trackpad im using a mouse

also using the escape key doesnt do anything until the movement stops

You could try backing up your worlds, uninstalling and reinstalling.
Also, try remaping the keys to see if other keys work better.

Hey there! Glad you got it fixed!
What exactly did you do to solve it?

This is still an issue for me. I'm running Minecraft EE 1.20.13 on 2020 Macbook Airs. Randomly (as far as I can tell), any controls will get "stuck". Could be any of the movement keys, wasd, could be LMB. The only way to stop it is to press that key again. I've tried lowering settings as much as possible trying to reduce lag and increase frame rates, with no luck. Any solutions would be much appreciated.

I'm having the same issue, and it is driving me bonkers.
Here's what I've done to narrow things down:
- Played the same worlds in other editions (Bedrock, Java - via conversion), issue doesn't occur in other versions
- swapped keyboards - no change
- Updated to latest Minecraft version - no change
- removed all my mods and addons - no change
- Played on multiple OSs - Mac, Windows - no change
I've searched but all I can find are threads from years ago, and no solutions. Has anyone actually fixed this?

So sorry, Martin Doyle - You will laugh at me, but after 40 years in computing, I still rather believe in gremlins in the machine.
I have had this problem as well. (You will see me above.) For some reason it has lessened for me, but I haven't the foggiest why. I feel like it is when I am moving forward with the mouse and somehow also brush the trackpad and somehow put the movement into warp drive. 0_o So I have no great recommendation except avoid the trackpad and put in a help ticket.

Gremlins it may be, as elusive as the solution seems. /sigh I'll try the help ticket, thanks. If anything comes of it, I'll let everyone know.
