I can't use add ons for Minecraft education edition

I have been trying to find addons for Minecraft education edition (MacBook) for my school assignment where I need australian animals and when I go to import the add-on in Minecraft education edition it doesn't let me click on it

  We do have some worlds that may help with your assignment: Search Results | Minecraft Education. Minecraft Education does not support custom skins, mods, or texture packs. This helps keep Minecraft Education stable, as many of these mods aren't designed for Education. Other users might be able to help you with this but using mods can cause issues with the world you create.
