corrupted world

I was playing and had hours of work and beautiful build complete. The entire computer froze randomly and I had to shut it down. When I booted it back up, the world was completely gone. the computer didn't overheat or have a WIFI issue. Yes it was a school device but they use Minecraft to teach and wouldn't shut it down.

  Hey there,

  If a computer crashes while playing in a world, especially if it is during an autosave, there is a chance that the world may be corrupted. I'd try the world on another computer and see if it works there. Moving forward, it may be worth keeping backups of your world via the Export feature. 

  I'd also reach out to your IT Admin to help fix the core issue of the computer crashing and corrupting data.

  hi i have a problem because when i loaded my minecraft world it was all black and pink just like the home screen and every thing was black and pink menu buttons were not tho please help
