Unable to connect to world

Whenever I join my friend it works. But somehow, whenever my friend joins me, it doesn't work. (It says "Unable to connect to world" Or, "Connection timed out) I need answers, I wanna play with my friends :<

  Others have reported that re-starting the device helps.
