Problems abroad with new update: 1.19.52
Good day to any who can help,
I have Minecraft education edition for my class with 6 different hours. Before the new update, my students could log into my hosted world and connection worked fine. This version was Education 1.18.45
After 1.19.52, my students are stuck in a loading loop for my hosted worlds. No one can join normally. On my own host computer, any world I open will not exit and save. I have to leave the application entirely. I do not know if this is potentially corrupting the world files. Sometimes the application will open after I exited, sometimes it won't at all without a hard reset.
I cannot move my class project forward without this issue resolved. So far, I cannot find anyone else having this issue and I cannot seem to see if it is a network problem or an update problem. It would be really helpful for someone to assist in this baffling change in the application.

Anthony Amador I opened a ticket with you so we can dive deeper. Can you put your device's OS and specs in the ticket so we can troubleshoot it with you. If you're able to provide a video reproduction of the issue that'd help speed things up too. Thanks!

I'm having the same problem, as I mentioned in a recent post. In addition, I am unable to join students worlds hosted on their chromebooks from my PC.

We are seeing the same issue. Can't you let me know if support finds a larger issue?

I have exactly the same issue

I figured out the solution. All devices needed to be on the same build (v1.19.52) for the students to join. Some students today were able to join but the world would break as soon as one student joined that hadn't updated. Those who were initially able to join faced issues such as their inventories not opening, world chunks not loading, and other students being unable to connect. The problem was traced to students who had not updated their minecraft program, causing everything to freeze. To resolve the issue, all devices were manually updated through the Google Play store, enabling all students to join the PC-hosted world. If even just one student is on v1.18.45, it will break for everyone.

I have exactly the same issue.
Thank you Ryan Ginn! I check all students and their version so they all had the latest 1.19.52.
Now MEE works as it should.

Ryan Ginn, We've been trying to do similar but we still can't load in anyone. Even with my students out of the question, my own PC hosting will stall, freeze, and generally destroy processing on my computer should my own minecraft education just load the world. I have to completely restart the whole computer as it bogs down the system without Minecraft even running. It's baffling me what's going on.

I ran into this with my students you need to make sure your device is also running on the updated version. I found that my students' devices updated automatically but mine did not.

I’m also experiencing the same issue with any world I open. I’ve tried to open the world on multiple devices with the 1.19.52 update. Students were instructed to update their devices as well with the new update. Several students can get on and begin to play, but then the entire world freezes or glitches. On my device 30 students will show that they have joined, but on their devices it shows loading server. I’m not able to exit or save the world. When I try to save & exit it shows the progress bar, but it never exits and freezes. I have to force quit Minecraft on a Mac, press Ctrl-Alt-Delete to End Task and close Minecraft on a PC, or ultimately completely power off my device.

Just to reiterate, I tried hosting yesterday assuming I had gotten all of the computers updated. They all had the same problem as before, not loading properly, not opening inventory, etc. I had them all close out of Minecraft (myself included) and physically bring me their Chromebooks. Lo and behold, one student was still on the previous version. I checked each student's Chromebook individually for their version and had them join back into my hosted server while I updated the one student's computer. She was then able to join as normal and we were able to play for an hour and a half with no issues. It just takes one un-updated computer to mess up the whole ordeal.
