eating issue

There's this weird bug in Minecraft Education. I try to eat something when my hunger bar is down, but nothing happens. The animation tries to play, but like just stops and it refuses to let me eat. And that's not all. When you try to right click drag (in crafting) it won't even let me do that either. Can someone tell me what' wrong? I've restarted minecraft multiple times and even my computer but to no avail, and it does this in every other world.
