server not loading

I have been playing normally and connecting to my friends server alot. Suddenly it wont connect. It says on my friends screen that i have joined the world, but im stuck on the loading screen.

"loading server" for as long as the pc is on.

  Are there any mods or is this a large world? You last state may be causing an issue. Try having your friend TP you to a new location or remove you from the world to refresh your state. Does this happen in other worlds as well or just this specific one?

  Yes it is a big world. And i have only played on this one so it has only happened once. will try your suggestions. If i dont reply back, the problem is fixed:)
