How to leave beta on a chromebook
-
To remove the Beta you will need to first uninstall Minecraft Education from the device. Then navigate to the play store and install the "live" version/ 1.18.45. That will allow them to play with others and leave the Beta.

Thank you for your post. However, uninstalling from the device did not prompt live version in the play store. We still see "beta" in the title. Any other suggestions?

There should be two different versions showing in the store unless this is a school store front. You may need to reach out to the IT admin or whoever controls the apps on that school store front for your school. You can also try following this:
- Chromebook and Android users can choose to stop receiving future beta versions in the Play Store. See the Leave a beta program section on the Google Play Help site for information on how to opt out.
- iOS users can visit the TestFlight page and scroll down to the Opting Out section for more details.
- For Windows and macOS, uninstall the beta version of Minecraft Education and install the production version from the Minecraft Education download page.
