Mcaddon Files are not working anymore

When ever I try to import mcaddon mcpack or mcworld files on chrome os It said Chrome os does not support this type of file Even though Before 1.19 It worked just finehttp://I

  Yes. I just experienced this yesterday. Chrome OS is no longer allowing these files to be handled by Minecraft Education. I have not yet looked at where to re-associate the files or if there is something else to be done . . .  but yes, we have a problem, Houston.

  I don't know how to handle re-associating the files in Chrome (I've never used a chrome book so no experience there.)
  
  FOR ADDONS that you want to use as a teacher hosting a world.  A work around might be to rename the mcpack or mcaddon file to zip and extract the contents.  Then place the contents into your development behavior packs and/or development resource packs folders within your com.mojang folder.  Then you should be able to open minecraft and apply the appropriate behavior packs and resource packs to the world.
  
  I"m not sure if you can use the same work around on the worlds by simply unzipping and placing the world folder into the worlds folder within com.mojang.
