Main Menu Slow on Cell Data

When I start the game on cellular data, the main menu is unbearably slow and the panorama only updates is position every ~5 seconds. It takes at least 15 minutes to get a world loaded up in the scenario (because of slow button responsiveness, not load times) but the issue stops once in a world. The issue then returns upon quitting back to the main menu. Reconnecting to the internet does not solve this problem alone, a restart of the game is also required. It seems that the internet status only matters at game start, because starting the game on internet, then disconnecting will not result in any strange behavior. Furthermore, when someone else connects to the same cellular data, using my hotspot, they have no issues. The “use cellular data” setting is turned on, and the device is set to roaming. The device used to run the game is an iPad.
