Code is not compiling / running

Hello!

I am having an issue where the code window stops the code running when it is closed. Example, on this lesson I have followed the steps and when I close the coding window to type in chat (to test this) nothing happens. When I open the code window again, the play button is green again. 

 

I have tested opening the code window, running the code then closing and opening the window again quickly and the play button is green again when I open the window. The code will not run outside of the window, so I have no way of testing it.

  Same issue with my classes. It works with my ipad, but not the students.

  I am working on Windows 11 with the most up to date version of the app.
