Minecraft Education Edition Not Opening On MacOS

So i've been trying to download and open minecraft, and it's not working. It's either stuck loading until it closes, does not open at all, or a message pops up saying: Minecraftpe cannot be opened because of a problem. I'm on MacOS version 10.14.6. Any help?

  One test we are trying is to see if running Minecraft Education in Windowed mode instead of Fullscreen resolves the freezing. Please try this and let us know if it helps. The other side is that if there is any communication interruption between Macs and our servers it can cause the app to crash or freeze. If the above mentioned doesn't work let me know about any firewalls, VPNs, Proxies, content filters or antivirus software that has been implemented.
