What's New Minecraft: The Chromebook Release (version 1.14.31)
This update brings Minecraft: Education Edition to Chromebook! Now you can download Minecraft: Education Edition from the Google Play Store. Additional features in this update available for all users include fun new mobs like bees and foxes, new agent actions in Code Builder and tons of new learning content in our Library. Explore digital citizenship and social-emotional learning, science lessons and updated learn-to-code curriculum in time for Back to School.

Chromebook availability
Minecraft: Education Edition is now available from the Google Play Store as an Android app for Chromebook. This version of Minecraft: Education Edition offers the same set of features as other versions (Window, macOS, and iPad) including cross-platform multiplayer.

Bedrock features
Features from the previous two Minecraft Bedrock updates (R13 and R14) are now available in Minecraft: Education Edition, including foxes, bees, beehives, and honey blocks.
Library updates
Windows and Chromebook users can now assign lessons and worlds from the in-game Library via Microsoft Teams or Google Classroom. On all platforms, links to lessons have been optimized for easier sharing and assignment-creation in your favorite LMS.
The Library has new categories to learn about Digital Citizenship and Social-Emotional Learning.
Tags are now displayed on all Library lesson and world pages. Click on a tag to find all items that share that tag.
Keyboard and Mouse Hints
New on-screen hints for keyboard and mouse users are easier to show and hide in the game.
NPC skins
New, bee-themed NPC skins are available for world builders.
